New implant aims to stop kneecaps from popping out again
NCT ID NCT06169800
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical implant called Biobrace® to see if it can help prevent the knee cap from dislocating again after a first-time injury. The surgery repairs and reinforces a key ligament in the knee. Researchers will follow 20 young patients for two years to see if this approach lowers the chance of the knee cap slipping out of place again compared to standard non-surgical care.
