Frozen graft offers hope for damaged knees

NCT ID NCT06216756

Summary

This study is testing whether a frozen cartilage and bone graft from a donor can effectively repair specific areas of damage in the knee joint. It will enroll up to 68 patients, aged 12 to 60, who have painful knee cartilage lesions that haven't improved with other treatments. Doctors will implant the graft during surgery and track patients' pain, function, and knee health for up to five years to see how well the repair holds up.
