Summary

This study tested a new implant called Agili-C to see if it works better than standard surgery for repairing damaged knee cartilage. It involved 251 adults with cartilage defects or mild-to-moderate knee arthritis. Researchers followed patients for five years to compare pain, function, and quality of life between the two treatments.
