New combo therapy tested to ease arthritic knee pain

NCT ID NCT07355712

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of knee injections and a personalized exercise program works better than injections alone to manage pain and improve movement in people with moderate knee arthritis. Researchers compared the two approaches in 74 adults to see which provided better pain relief and quality of life. They also checked for changes in certain body chemicals linked to arthritis.
