Massive study launched to see if knee 'Embolization' offers lasting pain relief

NCT ID NCT07380906

Summary

This study is creating a large registry to collect real-world information on a procedure called genicular artery embolization (GAE) for knee osteoarthritis. It will follow 1,200 adults whose knee pain hasn't improved with medication to see how long their pain relief lasts and what makes the treatment work better for some people. The goal is to gather long-term safety and effectiveness data to help doctors understand which patients are most likely to benefit.
