Summary
This early-stage trial tests an oral drug called KM-023 for Olmsted Syndrome, a rare genetic condition causing painful, thick skin on the palms and soles. First, healthy volunteers will receive single or multiple doses to check safety and how the body handles the drug. Then, patients with Olmsted Syndrome will take the drug twice daily for 12 weeks to see if it reduces skin thickening and lesions. The study is small and focused on safety, not yet proof of a cure.
