New shot tested for rare Bone-Weakening disease

Summary
This is the first study in people to test an experimental drug called KK8123, given as an injection under the skin. It aims to find a safe and tolerable dose for adults with X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH), a rare genetic disorder that causes weak bones and low phosphate levels. The study will also measure how the drug moves through the body and its effect on blood phosphate.
