New hope for tough leukemia: first human trial of KK2845 begins

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new drug called KK2845 in adults whose acute myeloid leukemia has returned or not responded to standard treatments. The main goal is to find a safe dose and check for side effects. About 72 participants will take part in two stages: first to find the right dose, then to gather more safety data.
