Major screening effort targets hidden mutation in mast cell disorders

Summary
This study aims to find out how often a specific genetic change, called KIT D816V, occurs in people who may have clonal mast cell disease. About 450 participants will provide blood samples, which will be tested using two advanced methods. The results will help researchers better understand this rare condition and may guide future treatment approaches.
