Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called KIO-104, given as an eye injection, to treat macular edema (swelling in the back of the eye). The main goal is to check safety and tolerability in 28 adults aged 18 to 85. The drug aims to reduce fluid buildup and improve vision, but this is an early phase 2 trial, so effectiveness is not yet proven.
