Could a simple sticky tape ease the pain of wisdom tooth removal?
NCT ID NCT07333963
Summary
This study looked at whether applying a special elastic tape (kinesiotaping) to the face and neck after wisdom tooth surgery helps people recover better. 70 healthy patients having their lower wisdom teeth removed were randomly assigned to get either standard care or standard care plus the tape. Researchers measured their pain, swelling, mouth opening, and painkiller use to see if the tape made a difference.
