Sticky tape tested to ease heart surgery pain
NCT ID NCT07098962
Summary
This study tested whether applying a special elastic tape (KinesioTape) around chest drain sites helps reduce pain after heart surgery. Researchers compared 100 patients who received the tape to those who got standard care alone. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free method could improve pain control and help patients move sooner after their operation.
