NCT ID NCT07192484
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether kinesio taping (a special elastic tape placed on the skin) can improve walking, balance, and muscle function in people who have had a stroke and have foot drop. Sixty adults who had a stroke within the past year will be randomly assigned to get either standard physical therapy or standard therapy plus the tape. Researchers will measure walking speed, balance, and muscle activity right after taping and two days later to see if the tape provides any extra benefit.
