First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether Kinesio Taping (a special tape placed on the skin) can ease period pain in teenage female football players. Fifty girls aged 15 to 17 with painful periods took part. They were split into two groups: one got real Kinesio Taping, the other got a fake version. Pain levels were measured using a simple 0-to-10 scale and a pain questionnaire.
