Could a simple tape ease hand pain without surgery?
NCT ID NCT07404917
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether adding Kinesio Taping to standard care (like exercises and education) can reduce pain and improve hand function in people with lacertus syndrome, a condition where a nerve in the forearm is compressed. Thirty adults aged 18 to 65 will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care alone or standard care plus Kinesio Taping for 4 weeks. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and worth testing in a larger trial.
