First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will test whether applying kinesio tape to the calf muscle changes muscle oxygen levels, pain sensitivity, and muscle stiffness in 50 healthy young adults. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either real kinesio tape or a placebo tape. The goal is to learn more about how this popular tape affects muscles, which could inform future therapies.
