Simple taping and needling combo eases Stroke-Related arm pain

NCT ID NCT07245472

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether kinesio taping (a special stretchy tape) plus dry needling (thin needles into tight muscle spots) can help people with shoulder-hand syndrome after a stroke. 84 patients were split into three groups: taping alone, needling alone, or both together, all while doing standard rehab. After 28 days, the combination group showed better pain relief and arm function than either treatment alone.
