Sticky tape tested as a simple fix for surgery pain
NCT ID NCT06648811
Summary
This study tested whether applying a special elastic tape, called Kinesio tape, could help reduce pain after gynecological keyhole surgery. It involved 54 women who had a benign condition and were undergoing this type of surgery. Researchers compared pain levels between women who had the tape applied and those who did not to see if it made a difference.
