Sticky tape tested to ease pain and speed healing after surgery
NCT ID NCT07452497
Summary
This study tested whether applying a special elastic tape (kinesio tape) to the surgical area could help patients feel better after soft tissue orthopedic surgery. Researchers worked with 120 patients, dividing them into groups that received the real tape, a fake tape, or no tape. They measured pain levels, sleep quality, how easily patients could move, and overall satisfaction during the first day after surgery.
