Special tape tested to ease pain and fix walking in common knee injury
NCT ID NCT07143942
Summary
This study tested two methods of applying kinesio tape to help people with patellar tendinopathy, commonly known as jumper's knee. Researchers compared a combination of two taping techniques against a single technique to see which was better at reducing pain and improving function. They also used specialized equipment to measure changes in how participants walked before and after the taping was applied.
