Does athletic tape really boost muscle power? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07464795
Summary
This study aims to find out if applying kinesio tape to the calf muscle has any immediate effect on how long healthy young adults can perform heel-raise exercises and how much oxygen their muscle uses. Participants will complete two sessions—one with real tape and one with fake tape—while their muscle performance and oxygen levels are measured. The results will help clarify whether this popular athletic tape provides a real performance benefit.
