Blood test trial aims to Fine-Tune transplant care
NCT ID NCT01424345
Summary
This study tested whether using a special blood test (ImmuKnow®) to guide anti-rejection drug doses could improve outcomes for new kidney transplant patients. It aimed to see if this approach led to fewer serious infections or episodes of organ rejection compared to standard care. The trial was very small and ended early, so its results are limited.
