Doctors probe if shock wave timing for kidney stones harms kidneys
NCT ID NCT07341269
Summary
This study aimed to understand if the waiting time between sessions of shock wave treatment for kidney stones affects potential harm to the kidneys. Researchers measured specific substances in the urine of 50 adult patients before and after their treatments to look for signs of kidney stress. The goal was to find the safest schedule for spacing out treatments to protect kidney health.
