Kidney stone breakthrough? new study tests which surgery clears stones best
NCT ID NCT07306819
Summary
This study compares two modern, minimally invasive surgical techniques for removing medium-sized kidney stones (2-3 cm). Researchers will randomly assign 120 adult patients to either Mini-PCNL (a small back incision) or Flexible Ureteroscopy with suction (through natural passages). The main goal is to see which procedure completely clears stones better, with fewer complications and shorter hospital stays.
