New kidney stone surgery trial tests less invasive option
NCT ID NCT07159035
Summary
This international study is comparing two different surgical methods for removing medium-sized kidney stones. Researchers want to see if a newer, less invasive approach using a flexible scope works as well as the standard mini-surgery. The trial will involve 640 adults across four countries, measuring how completely stones are removed and how quickly patients recover.
