Faster kidney stone surgery? study tests two access methods
NCT ID NCT07279389
Summary
This study compared two different ways to create the small tunnel needed for kidney stone removal surgery. Researchers wanted to see if a 'one-shot' method was as safe and effective as the traditional 'serial' method for creating this access point. The study involved 60 adult patients with large kidney stones to find out which technique led to better outcomes and fewer complications.
