New suction technique aims to make kidney stone surgery safer
NCT ID NCT07492147
Summary
This study is looking at whether using a suction device during a common kidney stone surgery makes the procedure safer. It will compare 400 patients getting surgery with the suction device to those getting standard surgery. The main goals are to see if the suction reduces the amount of fluid the body absorbs during the operation and lowers the risk of infections afterward.
