Doctors test which kidney stone surgery is better and cheaper
NCT ID NCT07371494
Summary
This study compared two common, minimally invasive surgeries for removing small kidney stones (20mm or less). Researchers in Vietnam randomly assigned 72 patients to one of two procedures to see which was more successful at clearing stones, safer, and less expensive. The goal was to help doctors and patients choose the best treatment, especially in areas with limited healthcare resources.
