First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive surgeries for removing kidney stones that are 2-3 cm in size. About 254 adults will be randomly assigned to get either flexible ureteroscopy or mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy, both using suction to help clear stones. The main goal is to see which method leaves fewer stone fragments after one month, while also tracking safety, pain, and recovery time.
