Massive study tracks hidden kidney crisis in ICU
NCT ID NCT07207031
Summary
This study aims to understand how common and how serious sudden kidney injury is in adults who are critically ill and admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers will track over 10,000 patients to see how often it happens, how severe it gets, and how it affects their hospital stay, need for dialysis, and survival. The goal is to gather detailed information to help doctors better predict and manage this serious complication.
