Summary
This study aimed to understand how kidney hypodysplasia, a condition where kidneys are small and underdeveloped, runs in families. Researchers collected DNA samples and performed kidney ultrasounds on 342 children with the condition and their family members. The goal was to identify genetic factors that might predispose families to this kidney disorder.
