First test: how kidneys handle new medicine

NCT ID NCT07227922

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand how a new drug called clofutriben is processed by the body in people with moderate kidney problems. It will compare 8 participants with kidney impairment to 8 healthy participants. The main goal is to see if the drug's levels in the blood are affected by reduced kidney function, which is a key safety step before wider testing.
