Scientists test brain drug safety in people with kidney issues

NCT ID NCT05718843

Summary

This study tested how kidney function affects the way a new brain medicine, called iclepertin, is processed by the body. It involved 36 adults, some with healthy kidneys and others with mild to severe kidney problems. Each participant took a single dose of the medicine, and researchers measured its levels in the blood over several weeks to understand the differences.
