Scientists probe hidden link between kidney disease and blood vessel damage

NCT ID NCT07437729

Summary

This study aims to understand why people with chronic kidney disease often have poor blood vessel function. Researchers will compare 105 participants—including kidney patients, people with high blood pressure, and healthy volunteers—by measuring their blood vessel responses and specific markers in their blood. The goal is to gather knowledge about the disease process and identify potential new indicators for kidney health.
