Could less dialysis help kidneys heal faster?

NCT ID NCT07447791

Summary

This study is investigating whether a lower intensity of dialysis treatment is as safe and effective as the standard dose for critically ill patients with sudden kidney failure. Researchers will randomly assign 20 ICU patients to receive either the usual dialysis dose or a lower dose, while all other treatments remain the same. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future study that could help determine the best dialysis intensity for recovery.
