Summary

This study tested a medical device called FLEX-1 that helps create better connections for dialysis treatment in patients with advanced kidney disease. Researchers wanted to see if this device was safe and effective for creating the blood vessel access needed for regular dialysis sessions. The trial involved 17 adult patients with late-stage kidney disease who required ongoing dialysis treatment.
