Simpler stitch for kidney cancer surgery? trial tests faster, gentler approach
NCT ID NCT07190638
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to stitch the kidney closed after removing a tumor during robotic surgery. Researchers will compare a simpler, one-layer stitch to the traditional two-layer method in 80 patients. The goal is to see if the simpler technique can preserve more kidney function, reduce blood loss, and shorten surgery time without increasing risks.
