New hope for rare kidney cancer: drug cocktail aims to prevent relapse after surgery

Summary

This study tests whether two drugs, Serplulimab and Fruquintinib, can prevent a rare kidney cancer (non-clear cell renal cell carcinoma) from returning after surgery. About 40 adults at high risk of recurrence will receive both drugs for up to 12 months. The goal is to see how long they stay cancer-free and whether the treatment is safe.
