Extended trial for kidney acidosis treatment halted before starting

NCT ID NCT03831152

Summary

This study aimed to check the long-term safety and effectiveness of a medication called ADV7103 for people with primary distal renal tubular acidosis (dRTA), a rare condition where the kidneys can't properly remove acid from the blood. It was designed for people who had been in a previous trial, as well as new patients, including infants. However, the study was withdrawn and never enrolled any participants.
