Summary

This study is testing whether a new eye drop called KHK4951 can safely reduce swelling in the retina and improve vision for people with diabetic macular edema (DME). It involves about 150 adults with DME and compares the eye drops to a standard treatment. The main goal is to see if the drops help patients read more letters on an eye chart, indicating better vision.
