Summary
This study looked at whether taking ketone supplements for five days changes how the kidneys work and affects blood pressure in people with high blood pressure. Nineteen adults with essential hypertension took either a ketone drink or a placebo, then switched after a break. The goal was to measure kidney blood flow, filtration, and blood pressure changes.
