Could a ketone drink help tame high blood pressure?
NCT ID NCT06418074
Summary
This study tested whether taking ketone supplements for five days could help lower blood pressure and improve kidney blood flow in people with high blood pressure. Nineteen participants took either a ketone drink or a placebo for five days, had a two-week break, and then switched to the other drink. Researchers measured changes in 24-hour blood pressure, kidney blood flow, and kidney function after each treatment period.
