Scientists test wearable ketone tracker for diabetes

NCT ID NCT06420518

Summary

This small, completed study tested how accurate a new wearable ketone monitor is compared to standard finger-prick tests. Sixteen adults with type 1 diabetes who use insulin pumps wore the device for two weeks while following special diets. The main goal was to see if the new monitor gives readings as accurate as the current method.
