Could a special drink help control high blood pressure?

NCT ID NCT06418074

Summary

This study tested whether a drink containing ketones (a substance the body makes during fasting) could help lower blood pressure and improve kidney blood flow in people with high blood pressure. Nineteen participants tried both the ketone drink and a placebo drink for five days each, with tests in between. The goal was to see if this approach could offer a new way to manage high blood pressure.
