Researchers train to use keto diet as mental health tool

NCT ID NCT07116226

Summary

This study aims to teach clinicians and researchers how to guide others in using a medical ketogenic diet, which is a very low-carb, high-fat eating plan. The 40 participants will first take a class and then have the option to try the diet themselves for four weeks in a group setting. The main goal is to see if this training improves their confidence and skill in helping others start the diet, with a secondary look at whether trying it improves their own mental and physical well-being.
