High-Fat diet tested as emergency treatment for worst seizures

Summary
This study is testing if a special high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet (called a ketogenic diet) can help stop severe, continuous seizures that don't respond to standard medications. It will involve 84 hospitalized patients in intensive care. Researchers will compare how quickly seizures stop in patients who receive the diet alongside standard care versus those who receive standard care alone.
