Summary

This study tested whether a daily keratin protein powder could improve hair and scalp health. For 24 weeks, 120 adults with mild hair damage took either the keratin powder or a placebo. Researchers measured changes in hair strength, shine, thickness, and scalp moisture to see if the supplement worked.
