Eye drop trial aims to soothe Post-LASIK discomfort
NCT ID NCT07155070
Summary
This study is testing whether using Kera Sol artificial tears helps reduce dry eye symptoms and signs of surface damage in the two weeks after LASIK eye surgery. Researchers will enroll 60 people who have just had LASIK and randomly assign them to use either the standard post-surgery drops alone or the standard drops plus Kera Sol four times a day. The main goal is to see if adding Kera Sol leads to less staining on the eye's surface, which indicates better healing and comfort.
