Scar showdown: which injection works best for keloids?
NCT ID NCT07420166
Summary
This study compared two common injection treatments for keloid scars to see which works better. Doctors gave 60 patients either a steroid (triamcinolone) or a blood pressure medication (verapamil) directly into their scars. They measured changes in scar thickness, color, and softness over 24 weeks to help guide future treatment choices.
