New study tests combo therapy for stubborn keloid scars

Summary
This study tests whether adding cryotherapy (freezing) to a standard keloid treatment (5FU injections) works better than 5FU alone. About 88 adults with painful or itchy keloids will receive either 5FU alone or cryotherapy followed by 5FU every 3 weeks for 12 weeks. Researchers will compare scar improvement, side effects, and patient satisfaction.
